☉★ RECONNECT WITH NATURE ★☉

Most of us live in a large, fast-paced city full of interesting people, music, art, parties, friends, events, work, noise of cars, chatter in the cafés.
I know I do. And as much as I love the excitement of the big city,
every now and then I need to take refuge in nature.
To be peaceful, to listen deep into the nothingness, hear the small noises that are
usually smothered by the city.
It calmes the soul and makes us understand where
we originate from
Point on my list to do this year - reconnect with nature
as often as I can

☉ WORDS OF WISDOM ☉

'To be born again,' sang Gibreel Farishta tumbling from the heaven, 'first you have to die.'
- The Satanis Verses by Salman Rushdie

When ego is lost, limit is lost.

One of the most healing things you can do is recognize where in your life you are your own poison.
- Steve Maraboli

If you're really listening, if you're awake to the poignant beauty of the world, your heart breaks regularly. In fact, your heart is made to break; its purpose is to burst open again so that it can hold ever-more wonders.
- Andrew Harvey, The Return of the Mother

The brightest light makes the blackest mark.
- Henry Holmes Smith

I let it go. It’s like swimming against the current. It exhausts you. After a while, whoever you are, you just have to let go, and the river brings you home.
—  Joanne Harris, Five Quarters of the Orange

One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words.”
—  Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Wilhelm Meister’s Apprenticeship

Thoughts are energy. And you can make your world or break your world by thinking.”
—  Susan S. Taylor

☉♢☽CONNECT WITH YOUR SACREDNESS ☾♢☉

Learn about the moon cycles of the year, their timing and their meaning
Our bodies consist mostly of water, just like the sea
we are greatly influenced by the moon and it's cycles

Rune Crystals may be used just like traditional celtic runes to
connect with the issues in your life, unanswered questions
to gain clarity over a situation

Alters can be prepared throughout the house,
you need not only have one, you can build them
whereever you feel the need to make one,
some large, some small

Burning Sage cleanses you and your home of unwanted energies

Connect with your inner eye. The pillar you represent reaching from your feet down into the core of the earth and through the crown of your head into the endless universe
You are always this pillar, every day, connected from the core into
 the infinite

Ritual and sacrfice have always been part of human culture.
Many of us have forgotten or never learned to embrace this,
take a candle and prepare a ritual every week, or day or month
to connect with your spirit, with the spirits of the world

Painting your skin can be very powerful,
symbols or simly colorful marks may empower
your connection with yourself
seeing yourself as a spiritual being

Nature is our most powerful force and ally
We are one with nature always and need to feel as one at every time
take the time to find crystals, to protect you and connect you
with earth and the spirits

the sea
is the most
healing power
find
the
ocean

love is more thicker than forget
more thinner than recall
more seldom than a wave is wet
more frequent than to fail

it is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea

love is less always than to win
less never than alive
less bigger than the least begin
less littler than forgive

it is most sane and sunly
and more it cannot die
than all the sky which only
is higher than the sky

Be of love a little more careful than of anything.

- e.e. cummings

✶☽ VIAJE A LA LUNA ☾✶

The Magic of 1902

LA VOYAGE DANS LA LUNE

a Film by Illusionist Georges Méliès

« He was so nice, always cheerful, always full of ideas to amuse and entertain the world. Athletic, dynamic, young-looking, basically honest, very straight, always in a good mood, he was in the same adversity wise and philosophical. He was not not disenchanted. It is not surprising that today we find freshness and charm in his work, because he remained very close to his dreams and poetry of childhood. (...)

Melies was the joy of living, malice around the eyes, a spin that clears what hurts.

The happiness of giving lies in giving what you give gladly and for what you want nothing in return.

»» THOUGHT ««

When you take an object, alter it -add or subtract from it- and thus rid it of its practical purpose,
it becomes artistic.
